The Russian ruble slowed its rally against the US dollar today on speculation the nation's central bank sold the currency. The ruble currently is above the opening price, indicating that it may yet continue its rally.
If you have ever been dumped, you know that the days following the initial break up can be rough. How you normally would act can be altered just by being dumped. You typically act on feelings. However, you can get through this time, dealing with it on a "sane" level and perhaps be friends at the end or get over someone you loved.
Are you ready to get over someone? Do you know which part of the dumped stage you are in? Do you want to get your ex back? No matter what level you are on, the thing to do is to distinguish it and deal with it. Remember, what you think and what is comfortable to you are most important. You need not worry with what people have to say about it all.
Where you go from here really depends on which stage of the breakup you are in. Have you reached a stage that your relationship is now hopeless? Then get it done. You don't want to hold onto the hope that it may get better. For the both of you, it is best if one of you is honest.

The Year 2009 was a relatively quiet one on the Nessie sightings front.
1. There was only one confirmed good sighting of our old friend – on June 6th, just out from the Clansman Hotel.
2. There were, of course, a couple of apparent "sightings," such as the cast of "'Allo 'Allo," a touring production who were conveniently lucky enough in May to see some unidentified sonar blobs.
"'Allo 'Allo!" actress Vicki Michelle took a pleasure cruise on Loch Ness and had a close encounter with Nessie.
The Jacobite Queen cruise ship, with the "'Allo 'Allo!" cast on break on May 21, 2009, was on its way to Urquhart Castle when the crew picked up a strange signal on their sonar. The unusual readings on the ship's sonar screen (actual video capture above) occurred between the village of Dores and Urquhart Castle. Ms. Michelle dashed below decks for a look, and was amazed to see five mysterious "arch shapes" on the screen.

This swan soup tureen sits on my dinning room table all year 'round. Rarely do I use it as a centerpiece in a tablescape, but it is really center stage worthy.
Today's table is formal... using very old and traditional elements. Quiet colors reign against a dark table. I wanted this table to speak of the past, because these adornments have been collected for ages and some are almost 100 years old. I am so comfortable in a style that is a marriage of the past and present. A collected feel is how I would describe it.
The inspiration for the table was not the swan but the antique cut crystal and silver coffee carafe (or wine) my daughter and son-in-law gave me for Christmas.

We have our project schedule, and mingled among the various things we have on the list to fulfill the needs of our permit, we have other things that are not as time-dependent.
One of which was replacing the failing kitchen cabinet.
(Our kitchen is not usually this tidy; I moved everything out of the way in order to begin this project. Normally this countertop is a raging pile of drying herbs, piled up recipes, notes to ourselves, and assorted animal medications.)
The cabinet has been slowly falling off the wall for the last couple of years, though recently the fall has accelerated and that was giving us some worry.
These cabinets were built by some member of the previous owners' family, and were completely inadequately supported. Also, I'm not a big fan of the closed-in soffit look; I figure if you have the space, put more cabinets up there.
Anyway, we had resolved that sometime early this year we would go get some IKEA cabinets and tear out the original cabinet on this wall. And today it was gray and rainy and so we just kind of tore a big hole in the kitchen.
