Tuesday night MLB Network debuted their first show which is very much like the ol ESPN "Stump the Schwab," where a moderator asks trivia questions to employees from the various MLB teams. Wednesday night, Brian Finch from the St. Louis Cardinals gets his turn to compete against an employee from the Cubs.
Finch, who is the Cardinals' manager of stadium tours and museum outreach, was on The Sports Zone Show yesterday on 1380AM from 1-3 and he said he was a little nervous during the taping. Each show has a winner who earns $5,000 for the charity of the club he or she represents. Finch's reprresents Cardinals Care. The overall champion's charity will receive $25,000, and the runner-up's charity will be given $15,000.
It is run tournament style.
