How many pics does a 2gb memory card hold?

So I have a Samsung BL103 digital camera, and I am going to church camp tomorrow, and I want to take a ton of pics.
I have a 2gb memory card in the camera, and I was wondering about how many pictures will I be able to hold?

We can't really answer this question for you.

If each photo was 1 GB in size, then you could hold two photos. If each photos was 1 MB then you could hold 2000 on that card.

format the card in camera (erase) and then look at the number on the LCD screen, the camera should tell you exactly how many you can take.

Another way, look at one pic on your computer, taken with this camera. right click, choose properties, how large is each photo in megabytes?

There are 1,000 megabytes in a gigabyte, do that math, that's how many photos your card can hold.

I don't have that type of camera, but I don't think it really matters. A 2GB memory card should hold anywhere from 500-2000 pictures. the reason there is such a range is because of the quality of the image you set. you can set the pictures to have more megapixels if you want them to have better quality, or fewer megapixels if you want to only take more pictures. it would be a good idea to check your camera user guide book, which would definitely have the details.

I just checked it really quick, and the exact expected capacity for a 2GB is around 450–4800

450 pictures is on the super fine setting, and the largest megapixel picture setting. although you can take up to around 4800 pictures on the lowest settings, these pictures will be coarse, and very small (recommended for the size of a postage stamp, I believe, because otherwise the picture will be blurry, because there aren't enough megapixels)

To adjust the settings of the quality of your pictures, look in the manual, it will explain everything.

Well it can hold around 2000-3000 pics depending upon the mega pixels and resolution.

Mega pixels and resolution decides the size of the pic.

2 GB = 2048 MB
